Mike Zoellner Recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the
Downtown Denver Partnership

DENVER – July 16, 2008 – RedPeak Properties, one of the most respected apartment owners, acquirers and developers in Denver, announced today that Mike Zoellner, RedPeak’s president and chief executive officer, was recognized by the Downtown Denver Partnership as a Volunteer of the Year. The Downtown Denver Partnership is a non-profit organization that creatively plans, manages and develops Downtown Denver as the unique, diverse, vibrant and economically healthy urban core of the Rocky Mountain region.

“Mike Zoellner has been a forceful and tireless proponent of strengthening our retail base in Downtown Denver,” said Kim Koehn, chair of the Downtown Denver Partnership, in his award presentation. “His efforts were key to accelerating retail façade improvements along the 16th Street Mall as well as the revitalization of underutilized retail properties. He is a true urban hero.”’

“Denver’s urban core is poised for incredible growth by transforming our retail space and tenant mix. The energy of high-quality retail options and fully occupied storefronts will transform the Downtown landscape,” said Mr. Zoellner. “The future of retail is not regional malls or big-box stores on acres of asphalt. It’s urban, it’s edgy and it’s on a small scale, linked by public transit. It’s Colorado living at its best and the timing is right for this evolution.”

Mr. Zoellner is a well-respected real estate executive with nearly 25 years experience in the multifamily industry. He founded RedPeak Properties in 2001, with a goal to create distinctive living environments for the people who call RedPeak “home” throughout Denver and the Front Range. Mr. Zoellner currently serves on the Board of Directors of Regis Jesuit High School, Citywide Banks, Stewart Title of Colorado, Mercy Housing, Inc. and The Downtown Denver Business Improvement District (BID). He is also a member of the National Multi-Family Housing Council and a Multi-Family Housing Council member of the Urban Land Institute. He also serves as Chairman of the Colorado Multi-Family Housing Alliance.

RedPeak Properties is a full-service apartment owner, operator, developer and acquirer with an exclusive focus on Denver and Colorado’s Front Range.
