Reports To: Community Manager
As a Leasing Professional, you’re the main point of contact with customers – whether they call your apartment property, visit online or visit in-person. Your role is an important one: to warmly connect with customers and successfully showcase the advantages of our properties to boost and maintain occupancy.
This full-time position will reward your people skills, sales experience, high energy, positive attitude and excellent performance with great earnings possibilities and outstanding advancement opportunities where you can make even more money. Weekend days are required, but no weekend evenings.
**The ideal candidate must have experience in multiple lease-up projects and/or at least
two years of experience working at 400+ to 500+ unit communities.**
This challenging opportunity includes:

Greeting customers, explaining our pricing, conduct tours of our model apartments and community common areas

Consummating leases
-
Following up on customer leads and helping to coordinate marketing efforts

Serving as the point-person for our current residents, answering their questions, assisting with service requests and facilitating renewals
Essential Responsibilities
-
Increase/maintain occupancy by participating in all leasing functions
-
Open/close models, inspect tour path and common areas, and publish marketing ads as required by schedule

Answer leasing calls
-
Respond to online/email leads in timely fashion
-
Tour, follow-up with, and close prospective residents
-
Prepare and complete all reservation and lease paperwork with future residents
-
Walk apartments and prepare move-in gift to ensure readiness for future residents

Prepare keys and change locks for future move-ins

Keep informed of current market conditions/trends

Compile comp surveys weekly or as directed by Leasing Manager

Shop comps bi-annually or as directed by Leasing Manager

Know and understand community occupancy levels and goals
-
Maintain a positive living environment for community residents by providing excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly and effectively and consistently following up on resident requests

Work directly with Leasing Manager to help establish and execute community marketing plan

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements are minimal

Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time

Minimum Education
Desired Education
Desired Work Experience
-
3+ years of sales experience
-
Experience in property management and/or customer service
-
Experience with Yardi Voyager property management software
-
General office, computer, and sales skills
-
Proficient with email and Internet platforms
Required Work Experience
