Reports To: Valet Manager

As a Valet Attendant, you'll play the important role of serving as the first point of contact with our customers and residents. You'll also play a crucial role in maintaining our high level of customer service by responding to residents and retrieving their car in a timely manner. A positive, friendly and helpful attitude is a must. The Valet Attendant is a terrific opportunity to make the leap from restaurant, retail and/or school to an entry level position with one of Denver’s most respected apartment companies.


Weekend shifts may be required to meet the business demands of a 24/7 operation. Scheduled overtime is a possibility. Please note that Valet Attendants are considered essential personnel during inclement weather. Speaking and understanding basic English is important to respond to residents and property managers.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Greet and communicate with residents in a polite, upbeat and friendly manner

  • Grant building access to authorized residents, vendors, and guests

  • Safely transport resident vehicles to and from the designated parking facilities and return to your post immediately

  • Safely park resident vehicles in the designated parking facilities

  • Secure keys and release cars in accordance with our policy

  • Assist residents with luggage, belongings and packages

  • Maintain the upkeep and appearance of the valet entrance, driveway and parking facility

  • Assist Concierge as needed

  • Help customers and residents by calling for a cab or other transportation service

  • Learn and comply with all operating standards to ensure safe and secure storage of all resident vehicles

Physical Requirements

  • Applicants must be in “athletic” physical condition as running is involved

  • Able to drive a manual transmission

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.


Desired Education

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent


Desired Work Experience

  • At least three years driving experience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Acceptable driving record

  • Knowledge in operating all types of passenger vehicles with manual and automatic transmission

  • Familiarity with handicapped guest vehicles/equipment and the ability to assist

  • Experience in hotel, resort, country club, restaurant or customer service a plus
